thumb_IMG_0077_1024MOS Warped Week continues today (so I guess it should technically be called Warped Week Two….) with our coverage of one of the most beloved bands on the tour, ISSUES! Check out Maureen’s photos and her review of ISSUES’ Warped set below!

ISSUES is a five-piece heavy band hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Their sound has a unique combination of clean vocals, coming from frontman Tyler Carter, and unclean vocals coming from Michael Bohn. The energy this band brings to the stage is incredible. Their bassist, Skyler Acord, and guitarist AJ Reboll, put on the perfect show to compliment Carter and Bohn’s voices. Not to mention, drummer Josh Manuel is insanely talented at what he does. The band released their newest album “Headspace,” earlier this year and it definitely did not disappoint. The album includes tracks that have that familiar ISSUES feel like “Coma” and “The Realest,” while also adding in some funky jazz/hip-hop vibes portrayed in the song “Flojo.” If you haven’t had a chance to see ISSUES live, I highly recommend it. With incredible vocal and instrumental abilities, and an energetic and fun stage presence, these guys put on an amazing show. Did I mention their entire set is inspired by Pokemon and they also open with their cover of the show’s theme song?! If that doesn’t catch your interest, I don’t know what will. Catch them at one of the remaining Warped Tour dates, and check out my photos from their set right here.

You can pick up a copy of “Headspace” right here.
