To celebrate this year’s Vans Warped Tour, MOS mag is doing a week of features centered solely around the famous alternative music tour. We have a few photo galleries and reviews planned, and even some interviews with your favorites like Knuckle Puck, Ghost Town, and From Ashes to New!

Today’s feature is photo gallery of pictures from UK pop punk band ROAM and Cincinnati easycore five-piece Settle Your Scores‘ sets. You can check out the gallery and some news and music from each band below!

ROAM is a pop punk band from Eastbourne, UK. They recently released their first full-length “Backbone” and have been touring it like crazy, playing multiple festivals, supporting Sum 41 on the Kerrang! Tour, and of course being part of this summer’s Vans Warped Tour. The band plays an exciting live set on the tour, really getting the crowd fired up and not letting the debilitating summer heat stop them. Vocalist Alex Costello has an insane amount of energy, spitting his vocals into the mic with all the passion of a man who really feels what he’s saying, and jumping as high as he can in the air only to land for a second and jump back up again. This band is excited about where they’re at and it’s apparent in the way they play. They’re enthusiastic and in your face and if you’re seeing them play for the first time, a few songs are all they need to convince you that they’re not disappearing anytime soon. In fact, there’s no where but up for these guys.

Upcoming Tour Dates:

Aug 20 New Noise Festival Karlsruhe, Germany
Aug 24 Mildtfest Eindhoven, Netherlands
Aug 25 Manchester Ritz Manchester, United Kingdom
Aug 26 Leeds Festival Leeds, United Kingdom
Aug 28 Reading Festival Reading, United Kingdom
Sep 10 BUTSERFEST Petersfield, United Kingdom
Sep 25 Underground Festival Gloucester, United Kingdom

Settle Your Scores is an easycore band from Cincinnati, Ohio and they were this year’s Ernie Ball pick to play their local date of Vans Warped Tour. Settle Your Scores are a hard-working group of guys who have come up in the scene because of their dedication and originality. Their infectious mix of catchy choruses and a little bit of heaviness thrown in makes for a great live performance that’ll get you jumping. The band opened up the Poseidon stage at this year’s Warped and they had a great turn out! A solid group of local fans made sure to show up early and get a spot against the barrier so they could sing the lyrics along with the band, but new fans were made too. The guys also caught the attention of people coming in the door, who couldn’t help stopping and watching their performance. If you haven’t heard of Settle Your Scores yet, you can check out “The Wilderness,” their full-length that was released earlier this year. I can give you a solid guarantee that you won’t regret it. I predict a spot on the entirety of the tour is in the future for Settle Your Scores. Check out some photos from their set!
