Fire From The Gods release “Excuse Me” music video, announce details of upcoming album

13568877_1287975494564494_6936253666132184930_oFire From The Gods is a metal/hardcore five-piece from Austin, TX and today they released a brand new music video for “Excuse Me,” a single from their upcoming album Narrative. The release is fitting for the events of yesterday and today, and the song really gives you a feel for what Narrative is all about. Vocalist AJ Channer says, “This album is the personal narrative of a minority man living in major cities and being American. There’s a socio-economic theme throughout the whole record that carries from each song to song. It’s all about the underdog. We’ve all had to fight for everything we have in this band. The political climate in our country is quite racially and socially charged. There are a lot of issues and energy people are expressing along with misguided hate and anger. I want to channel this in music that can resonate. This is where we come from and who we are as a band.” The record isn’t about division, it’s about unity and feeling like you have a place to belong. AJ says, “I want people to feel empowered when they listen to this record. Come out of the experience knowing somebody thinks like you. You’re not alone.”

Check out the video as well as tour dates below, and pick up Narrative on August 26th through Rise Records. You can preorder it here.
