MOS NEWS: Gucci Mane – Everybody Lookin’

image001You all know of the Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane, from his hits like “Lemonade”, and “Wasted“. He has also featured on many tracks with rappers such as Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, TI and most recently, Drake. Gucci Mane brings a unique style to the rap scene, and set the stage for trap-rap. #FreeGucci became a trend when he got sent to prison, but somehow even then he even managed to release songs. It’s obvious he is dedicated to his craft. Gucci is now free and already back to work! Not only has he released numerous mixtapes and NINE studio albums in his career, he is releasing his TENTH studio-album in half a decade on July 22nd! Read more about the project below.

Gucci Mane is releasing Everybody Lookin’ on July 22nd, 2016. Recorded in Gucci’s hometown Atlanta, this tape will be featuring some of your favorite artists and producers.

Critically acclaimed producers, Mike Will Made-It, Drumma Boy and Zaytoven all helped bring this album to it’s full glory six days following his release from prison.

“All My Children” Produced by The Drumma Boy was released June 24th, 2016
you can buy it here, and listen/stream it here

Gucci will also be holding a concert with “Gucci & Friends” in Atlanta, at the Fox Theatre on July 22nd to perform his album in its entirety! This will be his first performance since his release, and there are numerous surprise performers in the works. You can learn more about this event here !

Don’t forget to check out more of Gucci’s most recent releases;

“First Day Out Tha Feds” produced by Mike Will Made-It, and featuring production with Wiz Khalifa, Future and Ty Dolla $ign. This track really feels like the old Gucci to me, but with a grand new sense of delivery and execution. You can tell Gucci is back and ready to prove himself.

“Back On Road” ft Drake, released late May early June made waves among Drake and Gucci fans. You wouldn’t think that Drake and Gucci would be a good collaboration, but they definitely make it work. The back and forth between the two rappers really add a sense of consistency and diversity to the track considering Drake is notorious for hooks.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m so excited for Gucci to be back and making music again, especially with the strong wave of trap-rappers making their way to the scene. Music has taken a drastic turn since Gucci has been gone. But it seems he has been adapting really well and simultaneously staying true to his original genre.

Be on the lookout for Gucci’s new album Everybody Lookin’, and come back and check MOS when it’s released to see an album review by yours truly.
