MOS Show Review and Gallery: Hope For The Day Fest

CjkSFAaXEAUzw88.jpg-largeHope For The Day is an organization with a vision to provide resources for suicide prevention and mental health awareness through music, art, and the communities that are created through those things. With help from artists and others in the industry, they’ve been able to help people who struggle with depression, anxiety, and issues with mental health find a place to be themselves and feel safe. Recently, three of our contributors got to go to Hope For The Day Fest, an eight band event at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago, Illinois. A bunch of people came together in one building to celebrate music and how it’s made a difference in our lives. And the candidness and support of fans from the bands that played that night really reminded us why we’re involved in the music scene in the first place. You can create your own family, and that’s what we all are. Check out some pictures from the show in our gallery below, and if you or someone close to you is struggling with any sort of mental health issue, there are some great resources that can help you right here.
