The 1975 make their SNL debut!

the 1975The 1975 have a new album coming out called I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it, which drops in just a couple weeks. Saturday night they had a chance to show off some of the new songs on Saturday Night Live. They performed “The Sound” and “Love Me” and if you missed it you really need to watch the videos below.

Matty Healy’s flamboyant stage presence, eye rolls, hip thrusts, and bouncy hair make it hard to tear your eyes away from the charismatic front man. But then Adam Hann gets into his guitar solos and blows everyone away. Funky bass lines from Ross MacDonald and punchy drums thanks to George Daniel make it magic, and this performance should make everyone who already has tickets for the upcoming tour really excited. I know I am.

I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it comes out February 26th, but you can preorder it now.
